The boys finished up preschool for this year on May 19. This year really flew by, and they both learned so much. It's kinda sad that Reef won't be there next year, but Jonas and Lachlan will love it!
On the last day, they put on a program that they'd been practicing. This year, I didn't hear a lot of practicing at home, so I didn't know what to expect. I had heard that, aside from one really bad day, Jonas was the star of the show. As the pictures show, once you add an audience, he is no longer interested in performing!
Lining up. Can you see the forced smile he has going on?
Reef, on the other hand, was a very willing performer this year. Now we've moved on to the frowning stage...
And then the reaching for mommy phase...He did actually do some singing while he reached out for us. We felt bad for Channing's mom, who probably has no pictures that don't include Jonas's arm in her face!
After the other classes sang, Reef's class had a graduation ceremony. He loved Miss Roberta this year.
He was so excited about this part. If I wasn't so distracted by the other boys, I might have cried.
We are so proud of our little graduate. He grew so much this year, not just "academically", but in confidence, as well. Still can't believe we're starting kindergarten in the fall, but he's very excited about it and keeps asking when we're starting.
