Peach Pickin'

With much anticipation after missing last year's season, we headed out to pick peaches the after the 4th.  It was a first for Troy's parents and for Poppy.  We always go to Marburger Orchard, and they did not disappoint again this year.
Poppy's first fresh peach.  She wouldn't touch it but loved eating it!
These boys ate their weight in peaches that day.
One more before hitting the road.  Love Poppy's face!
We ended up with 3/4 of a bushel of peaches, which is well over 100 peaches!  We picked a large box of the variety just coming into season and a smaller box of a variety just finishing up.  You'd think with that many peaches it might be hard to eat them all.  Well, in this house, you'd be wrong.  Every.single.peach was gone within 2 weeks, and we were all sad to see them go.  Can't wait till next year!

Sickies

Lachlan had a cough that was lingering and some major whining and sleeping issues; his speech was also becoming harder to understand, so I decided to check in with the pediatrician before Troy's parents arrived, just in case something was going on.
Turns out this guy was wheezing and had an ear infection. We were thankful there was a reason for a such a major personality change in our guy who's usually pretty easygoing.  He was a trooper through his nebulizer treatments and loved his pink medicine!
Poppy attended the appointment also and was promptly diagnosed with wheezing, too.  She was NOT a trooper during her nebulizer treatments, and we all dreaded them!  Thankfully she was feeling much better within a week, too.

Laundry

This is what a week of laundry looks like for our family of 6!  I am so thankful Troy's mom was here to do it all for the last 3 weeks.  Back to reality now, though...
