Easter 2013

After much debate, we decided to dye eggs again this year.  There was a debate because it really isn't that fun, makes a huge mess, doesn't take long enough to warrant the mess, and no one even eats hard boiled eggs!

They enjoyed it, but I don't know that we'll try again next year, especially if that green stain is still there to remind us this year!

Easter morning found the baskets packed:

 And the Easter bunny hard at work, with his headlamp on.

 Reef wanted these French toast goldfish forever, but we could never find them at the store.  The Easter bunny finally found them!

 Jonas has become very photo-willing these days!  He had a puzzle to share. 

 She obviously dresses for the occasion, unlike her brothers.  She found a granola bar and was good to go.

 We headed outside to hunt eggs.  We did a few with candy and several with puzzle pieces in them.  A note for those wishing to try that trick next year, buy big eggs or a puzzle with tiny pieces!

 

We spent the morning at church, and the evening at home watching movies and eating pizza since our dinner with the Torres family got postponed due to the dreaded stomach bug!
